২০২৪ সালের মে মাসে যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের State Department আজিজ আহমেদকে significant corruption-এর জন্য publicly designated করে। পরে বাংলাদেশি প্রতিবেদনে বলা হয়, আজিজ এবং তার ভাই হারিস ও তোফায়েল আহমেদের বিরুদ্ধে alleged illegal wealth, money laundering ও procurement-related irregularities নিয়ে দুদক inquiry শুরু করেছে। BSS জানায়, এক ব্যবসায়ী আজিজ, হারিস, তোফায়েল আহমেদ জোসেফ, বেনজীর আহমেদ ও আরেকজনের বিরুদ্ধে extortion complaint করেছেন; আদালত CID-কে তদন্তের নির্দেশ দেয়। Prothom Alo reporting-এ আজিজ যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের অভিযোগ অস্বীকার করেন।
পরবর্তী ধাপে প্রতিটি দাবি, মামলা, আদালত আদেশ, জবাব বা সংশোধন আলাদা structured record হিসেবে যুক্ত করা উচিত।
